I recently moved from out of state and brought my dog here for what should have been a routine visit. Instead, I spent 2 hours and 20 minutes there, most of it waiting. Then came the recommendations for $468 worth of treatment. I ended up getting only some of it because I did not agree that my dog had a skin infection. She had scratched her back on something in the yard, and it was already healing and looked like a simple scab. What really bothered me was the lack of transparency about the follow-up visits. They advertise the initial exam for $1, but the vet asked me to bring my dog back in two weeks without telling me that the follow-up would cost $53. I brought her back, was told everything looked great, and was then told to come back AGAIN in another two weeks. Once again, no mention that I would be charged another $53. If you are specifically asking a client to bring their pet back for a follow-up, the cost should be clearly disclosed upfront. I shouldn’t have to find out about the charge after agreeing to come back. The combination of the 2 + hour wait, aggressive treatment recommendations, and lack of transparency about follow-up costs left a very bad impression. It felt much more like a money grab than a straightforward veterinary visit. I will never bring my dog back here. There are plenty of veterinarians who value their clients’ time and are upfront about their pricing.

I had such a positive experience bringing my cat, Fluffy, here. They helped us almost immediately, and everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate. Once we were brought to the back, they patiently answered every question I had—I never felt rushed or like I was bothering them. Dr. Poche was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. It truly felt like the entire team cared not only about Fluffy’s health, but also about what I could realistically afford. A special shout-out to the front desk team for helping me explore financial-support options, and to Dr. Poche for her knowledge and compassion. I’m so grateful for the care Fluffy received!
