We took our new mini dachshund in for his first appointment and the Dr and staff were very informative as we are new to puppy parenting. They were patient and explained everything and answered ALL of our questions. 10/10 stars

UPDATE NOTE THEY CHECKED MY DOG IN OR STARTED TOO AS ANOTHR DOG . Put him on the scale and she says … that’s his reg weight that he was last time .. I had to correct her .. yeah your staff didn’t listen to me .. another vet found the Cb Larvae and it’s what it was … your staff was childish and they didn’t even look at the items they were in a baggie in a way if they took them they wouldn’t be back exactly the same as when she got them! 400.00 for what and he’s I was livid and you’re the ones that were Rude I wanted a refund because you didn’t nothing prescribed what I said had worked before but they said not a fubgal infection .. yes ur was .. and you charged ne for things that were not done .. I voice recorded it … it’s exactly what happened they couldn’t even examine him properly… Thee worst veterinarians they act like your bothering them first tried to check my dog in as another patient said he’s weight hadn’t gone down since last time (need I say more ) they didn’t check the name etc … steroids can cause fungal infections so so antibiotics they tried to argue … they lie didn’t take his temperature or a fecal when I asked they said it’s annually ! He’s got green feces ! This is a joke ! The blood tests positive for crystals etc in Urine they said the blood work was “BEAUTIFUL” they also didn’t give me a script like I asked and when I asked she said I doubt Walmart pet pharmacy had it (THEY DO )THEY RIP YOU OFF ALL ABOUT $ so I could have gotten in for a 1/4 of the price both meds never again the vet is like 12 years old

Dr. Firman is a fantastic Vet and the best in Slidell. He gives care to both of my Boston terrier girls. During their treatment, he gave one of my girls “new knees.” My dogs quality of life is much better now. Trust Slidell Veterinary Hospital bc Dr. Firman is very experienced and his guidance will not steer you wrong. You can trust Dr. Firman and his team.
